Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled CNC Programmer to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for developing and optimizing CNC programs for various machining operations, ensuring precision and efficiency. This role requires a solid understanding of CNC machinery, mechanical knowledge, and proficiency with CAD/CAM software.

The CNC Programmer will collaborate with engineering and production teams to produce high-quality components using CNC lathe and milling machines, primarily utilizing Fanuc controls. Candidates with experience in blueprint reading, machining, and lean manufacturing principles are highly preferred.

Responsibilities

- Develop, test, and optimize CNC programs for machining operations on CNC Milling and Wire edm machine using Haas controls
- Interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and CAD models to create accurate machining processes
- Set up and operate CNC equipment, ensuring adherence to specifications and quality standards
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC machinery to minimize downtime
- Utilize hand tools, calipers, and power tools to assist in setup and inspection tasks
- Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications for manufacturing parts
- Apply basic math skills to calculate dimensions, tolerances, and machine offsets




- Support assembly processes when necessary, including welding or use of other mechanical tools
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment following safety protocols
- Collaborate with team members on lean manufacturing initiatives to improve efficiency

Requirements

- Proven experience in CNC programming with proficiency in Haas controls
- Mechanical knowledge related to machining processes and equipment operation
- Strong skills in CAD software such as SolidWorks or similar programs for designing or modifying parts
- Ability to read blueprints accurately and interpret technical drawings
- Familiarity with manufacturing processes including machining, assembly, welding, and use of hand tools
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations required during programming and setup
- Experience operating CNC lathe and milling machines in a manufacturing setting
- Knowledge of calipers, power tools, forklift operation (nice-to-have), and lean manufacturing principles
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail with excellent problem-solving skills

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $22.00-$35.00 per hour
