Kekuli Bay Cabinetry is a Vernon-based cabinet manufacturer with over 27 years in business. We run a factory and showroom in Vernon, a showroom in Kelowna, and partner in Kekuli-Klyn Kitchen & Cabinetry in Kamloops. What you’ll do

- Operate and monitor our nested CNC group of machines
- Load and unload sheet material and keep the machines running smoothly
- Read tape measures and check parts against specs for accuracy
- Work with the production team to keep jobs moving in a rapid-paced environment
- Keep your work area clean and organized

Requirements

- High school diploma or equivalent
- Experience running a CNC router or nested CNC machine
- 1 year of production work experience and some woodworking experience
- Physical ability: Comfortable lifting and handling full sheets of material that are approximately 40 lbs.
- Attention to detail: Careful checking of parts against specs, since errors on a nested machine waste material.
- Reading drawings or cut lists: Ability to follow cut lists, part labels, or basic shop drawings.
- Safety:



Willingness to follow shop safety procedures and wear PPE.
- Occasional overtime, when needed
- Reliable transportation
- Day shift availability

Preferred

- Familiarity with cabinet or CNC software
- Forklift experience
- Knowledge of cabinet parts and materials such as melamine and plywood

Schedule

- Monday to Friday, day shift 7:30-3:30 pm
- 8-hour shifts
