Job Summary

We are looking for a skilled and reliable CNC Operator to operate CNC machinery used for cutting,shaping, drilling, polishing, and processing glass products. The ideal candidate has hands-on CNC operating experience, strong attention to detail, the ability to read technical drawings, and a commitment to producing high-quality work in a safe and effective production environment.

Responsibilities

- Operate and monitor CNC machines used for glass processing

- Set up machines, tools, programs, and materials according to production requirements

- Read and understand technical drawings, measurements, and production specifications

- Load and position glass safely and accurately

- Perform drilling, cutting, edging, polishing, and other CNC glass-processing operations

- Inspect finished glass products for accuracy, quality, and defects

- Make basic machine adjustments and troubleshoot operating issues

- Perform routine cleaning and maintenance of CNC equipment

- Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times

- Maintain production records and report machine or quality issues to supervisors

- Handle glass carefully using proper lifting and safety equipment

Qualifications

- High School Diploma or equivalent

- Minimum 1 year of CNC machine operating experience, preferably with glass

- Ability to read technical drawings and use measuring tools





- Basic knowledge of CNC controls and machine setup

- Experience with CAD would be an asset

- Experience with Easy Glass software would be an asset

- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Able to handle glass, and to stand for extended periods

- Commitment to workplace safety

Working Conditions

- Manufacturing/production environment handling glass materials

- May involve standing for long periods

- Must wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)

- Lift, push, or pull up to 50 pounds

- Full-time position - overtime may be required depending on production needs

Schedule

- Day Shift: 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m

Pay: $25.00-$30.00 per hour
