WHAT YOU'LL DO

Assist with site prep, grading, forming, reinforcement, concrete placement, finishing, and cleanup

Follow direction from the Foreman and Lead Man

Check Buildertrend for the day’s plan and prepare accordingly

Load the truck with the tools, PPE, equipment, and materials needed for the job

Stay productive and pick up the next task when your current work is complete

Recognize potential problems and bring possible solutions to the crew

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsite

Learn proper concrete methods, tools, equipment, and finishing techniques

Ask questions, accept coaching, and continually improve your skills

Work toward a personal development plan and advancement to Skilled Laborer

WHO YOU ARE

Essential:

Willingness to learn concrete the right way

Strong work ethic





Reliable attendance and punctuality

Ability to listen, follow direction, and work as part of a team

Robust safety awareness around excavation, equipment, concrete placement, and finishing

Willingness to take responsibility for your work

Curiosity — a “how can we do this better?” attitude

Ability to recognize when something isn’t right and speak up

Interest in developing both trade skills and leadership ability

Ideal:

Previous construction or concrete experience

Valid driver’s license

Reliable transportation

Previous concrete experience is helpful, but it isn’t required. Character, work ethic, and the willingness to learn matter more.
