NIDUS Development Inc. is seeking a reliable, hands-on individual to assist with the day-to-day coordination of residential construction sites.
Key Responsibilities
Act as the main on-site contact for contractors and trades working on recent home construction. Relay information, questions and site updates between contractors and management.
Assist with coordinating access to worksites, including locking and unlocking properties as required. Pick up and deliver construction materials and supplies to worksites.
- Keep worksites clean, organized and ready for the next contractor or stage of construction.
- Ensure required site signage is properly displayed and maintained.
- Monitor general site conditions and report issues, deficiencies or concerns to management.
- Assist with basic carpentry, construction and site-related tasks as required.
- Help ensure sites are prepared and accessible for scheduled contractors.
Drive company work trucks as required.Requirements:
Previous carpentry and/or construction experience.
- Valid driver’s licence with a clean driving record and ability to safely operate work trucks.
- Availability Monday to Friday.
- Reliable, organized and comfortable working independently.
- communication skills and ability to work effectively with contractors, trades and management.
- Ability to perform physical construction-site duties, including lifting and moving materials
