Duties

- Prepare and cook a variety of menu items with precision, creativity, and consistency
- Handle all aspects of food preparation, including chopping, marinating, portioning, and plating dishes
- Ensure all food handling procedures adhere to safety and sanitation standards
- Serve food efficiently and courteously to guests, maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the kitchen area, including equipment and workstations
- Follow recipes and portion controls to ensure quality and cost control
- Assist in inventory management by rotating stock and notifying supervisors of shortages or expired items





Experience

- Prior food service experience in a restaurant or similar setting is preferred but not required; we welcome motivated newcomers eager to learn!
- Knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods across various cuisines is advantageous
- Familiarity with food safety regulations and proper handling procedures is essential
- Experience with meal preparation in a fast-paced environment helps ensure efficiency under pressure
- Solid understanding of serving standards and customer service principles in the food industry
- Kitchen experience demonstrating ability to work cleanly, safely, and efficiently in a team environment
