Responsibilities

- Prepare high-quality food items efficiently while adhering to food safety and sanitation standards
- Operate the POS (Point of Sale) system, including Micros POS, to process transactions accurately and swiftly
- Handle cash and credit card payments with precision, ensuring proper cash handling procedures are followed
- Provide excellent customer service by greeting guests warmly, taking orders, and addressing their needs promptly
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations, dining areas, and kitchen spaces in compliance with sanitation guidelines
- Assist in upselling menu items to enhance customer experience and increase sales opportunities




- Support team members during busy periods by managing multiple tasks such as serving, food prep, and cashiering

Requirements

- Previous food preparation or food service experience is preferred but not required; training will be provided for motivated candidates
- Ability to operate POS systems, including Micros POS, with confidence and accuracy
- Robust time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently during fast-paced shifts
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions and making change accurately
- Knowledge of food handling safety standards and sanitation practices in a restaurant environment
- Experience in cashiering or serving roles within the food industry is a plus
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a lively restaurant setting
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, and holidays
