Curriculum Manager | School 2.0

Location: 851 St Clair Avenue West, Toronto

Job type: Part time, in person

Availability: At least three weekdays per week, from 2:30 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

School 2.0 is looking for a friendly, creative and organized educator to help guide learning for children primarily in JK to Grade 8.

We’re looking for someone who enjoys spending time with children, understands that every child learns differently and can turn learning goals into engaging lessons and activities. This role combines curriculum planning, supporting our educators and working directly with the children.

You will

- Create and adapt curriculum, lesson plans and activities to suit different ages, abilities and learning needs.
- Identify each child’s strengths and areas for improvement, and set explicit, achievable learning targets.
- Work closely with instructors and educators to ensure they understand each child’s goals and have the resources and guidance to support them.
- Follow up regularly with educators, review student work and track progress, adjusting learning plans when needed.
- Build positive relationships with children and make learning fun through creative activities, encouragement and interaction.
- Help with school pickups and safely accompany children to the centre.
- Step in to teach or supervise classes when an educator is absent.




- Support the team with the daily running of our programs and share relevant learning updates with families.

- Have experience teaching or tutoring children, particularly within JK to Grade 8.
- Can create practical lesson plans and adapt activities for different learning levels.
- Are warm, patient and approachable, and enjoy interacting with children.
- Are organized, dependable and comfortable guiding other educators.
- Are happy to take an active role in school pickups, classroom support and substitute teaching.
- Can reliably commute to our centre and be ready to begin by 2:30 p.m. on at least three weekdays each week.

A background in education, child development or a related field is an asset. If you enjoy helping children build skills and confidence, we would love to hear from you. Pay: $20.00 per hour

Expected hours: 9.0 – 22.0 per week
