Job Overview

Melii is seeking an experienced Customer Account Coordinator to support our rapidly growing business across North America, Europe and other international markets.

This role will act as the operational hub between Melii's Montreal office, our China sourcing office, our factories, testing laboratories, and one of Melii's key retail customer accounts.

The successful candidate will ensure every customer program progresses on schedule, proactively identify risks before they become issues, and provide complete visibility into every order from purchase order through final shipment.

This is a highly organized, detail-oriented role requiring previous experience supporting retail customer accounts with strict compliance requirements. Direct, hands-on experience working with or supporting the other retail customer accounts (vendor/supplier side) is required. Candidates without direct retail customer experience will not be considered for this role.

Reports to: Account Manager

Location: Remote (work from home); open to candidates based in Canada or the United States, available during North American business hours.

Duties

Key Responsibilities

Order Management

- Own the day-to-day execution of all customer purchase orders.
- Monitor every milestone for each order.
- Follow up with factories on production status.
- Ensure deadlines are met.
- Escalate delays immediately to the Account Manager.
- Identify potential risks before they impact customer deliveries.

Factory Coordination

- Serve as the primary operational contact with assigned factories.
- Follow up on:
- Purchase Orders
- Production schedules
- Artwork approvals
- Packaging
- Samples




- Ensure factories understand customer requirements.
- Maintain regular communication until shipment completion.

Testing & Compliance

Coordinate all product compliance activities including:

- Product testing
- Lab scheduling
- Sample submissions
- Test reports
- Corrective actions
- Compliance documentation

Work closely with testing laboratories including:

Ensure no shipment proceeds without required approvals.

Packaging & Artwork

Coordinate with Melii's design team and factories regarding:

- Packaging approvals
- Barcode verification
- Label compliance
- Country-specific requirements
- Translation requirements
- Packaging revisions

Logistics Coordination

Work with our China team to monitor:

- Booking requests
- Vessel schedules
- Container loading
- Shipping documents
- Departure dates
- Arrival schedules

Ensure shipping deadlines are achieved.

Customer Systems

Once trained, support the preparation and maintenance of the csutomer systems and portals.

Requirements

- Proven experience in B2B sales, account management, or related roles with a focus on negotiation and relationship building
- Robust communication skills with the ability to clearly articulate value propositions and listen actively to client needs
- Demonstrated business development skills with a track record of expanding client portfolios
- Proficiency in analysis skills for interpreting sales data and market insights
- 5 years of account coordination experience.
- Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent English communication skills (written and verbal).
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.

Pay: $50,000.00-$65,000.00 per year
