Huntington Animal Hospital is a small animal veterinary clinic located in St. Catharines, Ontario. We have been providing love and exceptional medical care to cats & dogs in the Niagara Region since 1994.

We are dedicated to providing compassionate veterinary care and exceptional client service. We are seeking a friendly, organized, and skilled Customer Service Representative to join our team and help create a welcoming experience for pet owners and their animals.

Key Responsibilities

- Welcome clients and pets with professionalism and compassion
- Answer incoming phone calls and respond to client inquiries
- Schedule, confirm, and manage appointments
- Process payments and maintain accurate client records
- Assist with administrative and clerical duties
- Communicate effectively with veterinarians and support staff
- Maintain a clean and organized reception area
- Provide excellent customer service in a fast-paced environment
- Assist veterinarians and veterinary technicians during examinations and treatments.
- Restrain and handle animals safely and humanely.
- Prepare examination rooms, treatment areas, and surgical areas.
- Clean, disinfect, and maintain kennels, cages, equipment, and work areas.
- Feed, water, exercise, and monitor hospitalized or boarding animals.
- Observe animals for changes in behavior, appetite,



or condition and report concerns to the veterinary team.
- Assist with preparing animals for surgery, procedures, and diagnostic testing.
- Sterilize and organize instruments and medical equipment.
- Collect and label samples such as urine or feces as directed.
- Administer medications or perform basic treatments when permitted by the clinic and applicable regulations.

Qualifications

- Minimum of 2 years experience required
- Experience with Avimark veterinary software is an asset
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and stay organized under pressure
- Basic computer and administrative skills
- Positive attitude and team-oriented mindset
