Job Overview

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Customs Coordinator to join our dynamic transportation team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing customs clearance , ensuring compliance with trade regulations, and facilitating movement of goods across borders.

Responsibilities

- Coordinate and customs clearance processes for inbound and outbound shipments, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and tariffs.
- Completing Data Entry into TMS and Excel systems.
- Communicating with customers, 3PLs and drivers to ensure efficient routing and documentation
- Coordinating customs paperwork, submitting to customs broker, following up and ensuring clearance of shipment while creating ACE/ACI manifest paperwork for shipments for on time border crossing.
- Maintain accurate documentation including shipping manifests, invoices, import/export licenses, and customs declarations using the TMS and Excel.
- Manage transportation management systems (TMS) and Excel to track shipments, optimize freight routes, and coordinate shipping & receiving activities efficiently.

Qualifications





- English Written and Spoken a Requirement
- French Written and Spoken and Asset
- Strong Computer Skills a Requirement
- Small to Medium Level Excel Skill
- Pay rate adjustable based on experience
- Knowledge of freight logistics including 3PL services, shipping, receiving and transportation procedures.
