About The Daily Bark The Daily Bark is a new boutique pet-care business in Aurora offering personalized grooming, daycare, canine massage and other dog-care services. We're building our opening team and are looking for one full-time and one part-time daycare attendant to grow with us.

We're looking for people who want longevity, enjoy building relationships with clients and their dogs, and want to be part of a team as the business develops.

The Role

Dog daycare is an active and physically demanding job. Shifts can be long, and attendants are on their feet, moving throughout the facility, supervising dogs, cleaning and managing behaviour throughout the day.

Responsibilities include

- Supervising and safely managing groups of dogs
- Monitoring play, body language and behaviour
- Confidently redirecting and managing challenging behaviours
- Providing exercise, enrichment, rest and individualized care
- Safely handling dogs of all sizes, breeds and temperaments
- Feeding and following individual care instructions
- Maintaining a very high standard of cleanliness and sanitation
- Cleaning accidents and daycare areas throughout the day
- Communicating health or behavioural concerns to management
- Providing professional, friendly client interactions
- Following company safety and handling procedures

What We're Looking For Professional dog-care experience is required. This may include daycare, boarding, professional grooming, veterinary work, training, rescue/shelter work or another professional animal-care environment.

Owning a dog does not count as professional experience in this type of environment.

The ideal candidate is

- Confident handling dogs of all sizes
- Knowledgeable about canine body language
- Comfortable managing challenging behaviours
- Physically active and able to stay on their feet for long shifts
- Reliable,



responsible and highly observant
- Professional and comfortable communicating with clients
- A team player who is willing to learn and receive feedback

Dog training or behaviour experience is a strong asset.

Hours & Compensation

1 Full time + 1 Part-Time position available

Daycare hours are expected to be Tuesday–Saturday, approximately 7 AM–7 PM. Shifts can be long, and scheduling will vary based on daycare bookings as the business grows. Flexibility is required.

$18–$21/hour, commensurate with experience
