LeverageTek is actively seeking a Data Engineer for a 3-month contract with its remote-based customer.

Work Location The successful candidate will be required to work fully remote during Eastern Time hours.

Key Tasks

- Configure and implement representative development patterns within the approved Data Forge architecture and CRC environments
- Build secure, parameterized, and reusable ingestion pipelines for selected Philanthropy systems and other approved sources, including schema validation, incremental loads, error handling, audit logging, and reconciliation
- Implement bronze, silver, and gold processing patterns with documented transformation logic, data contracts, quality rules, and lineage
- Create curated data products including mastering and matching logic as approved by CRC business and data governance stakeholders

Key Qualifications

- 7+ years in data engineering, including 3+ years delivering production cloud Lakehouse or Databricks solutions
- Hands-on expertise with Azure Databricks, Python, PySpark, SQL, and Delta Lake medallion architecture
- Proven experience building and delivering data pipelines at scale in a production workplace

Qualifications

- Experience with Unity Catalog, Azure Data Lake Storage Gen2, Azure Data Factory, and/or Databricks Workflows
- Familiarity with Azure DevOps or Git-based CI/CD practices
- MDM exposure considered an asset
- Large enterprise or regulated-sector experience preferred
- Experience with long-term operational ownership of data systems is an asset
