Responsibilities

- Prepare a variety of deli items including sandwiches, salads, and hot foods while maintaining quality standards
- Operate POS systems such as Micros POS to process transactions efficiently and accurately
- Handle cash register operations, including cash handling and balancing cash drawers at shift end
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting guests with product selections, answering questions, and upselling items to enhance their experience
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the deli area following food safety guidelines




- Ensure proper food handling practices are adhered to at all times to uphold health regulations
- Manage time effectively to restock supplies, organize displays, and keep the deli area tidy throughout your shift

Experience

- Previous food service experience or restaurant background is highly preferred
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS or similar platforms is a plus
- Experience in cashiering, serving, or working in the food industry demonstrates strong customer service skills
- Knowledge of food safety procedures, sanitation practices, and proper food handling techniques is essential
- Ability to perform basic math for transactions and inventory management confidently
- Kitchen or food preparation experience will help you excel in this role
- Strong time management skills combined with a proactive attitude toward upselling and customer engagement are key to success
