Duties

- Efficiently wash, rinse, and sanitize dishes, glasses, utensils, pots, and pans using commercial dishwashing equipment or manual methods.
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen stations by regularly cleaning work areas, sinks, and dish racks.
- Organize and store clean items in designated areas to ensure easy access for staff.
- Assist with basic food preparation tasks as needed, such as organizing supplies or preparing ingredients under supervision.
- Follow all food safety and sanitation standards to uphold health regulations and ensure guest safety.
- Support the kitchen team during busy service times by providing timely clean dishes and maintaining a steady workflow.




- Report any maintenance issues with dishwashing equipment or cleanliness concerns to management promptly.

Requirements

- Prior experience in a restaurant, hotel, or food service environment is preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm to learn is key!
- Strong understanding of cleaning procedures, food handling practices, and sanitation standards.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive tasks efficiently.
- Knowledge of basic kitchen operations including food preparation and cooking is a plus.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting colleagues in a hospitality setting.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
- Flexibility to work various shifts including evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed.
