Responsibilities

- Efficiently wash and sanitize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment using proper cleaning techniques.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area, including sinks, counters, and storage spaces.
- Assist with food preparation tasks as needed, supporting chefs and kitchen staff in maintaining smooth operations.
- Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures and hygiene standards.
- Support the overall cleanliness of the restaurant or hotel dining area by managing waste disposal and organizing supplies.




- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely clearing of tables and quick turnaround during busy service hours.
- Follow health and safety regulations diligently to uphold a safe environment for all staff and guests.

Qualifications

- Prior experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is key!
- Strong understanding of cleaning procedures and food safety standards.
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physically demanding tasks with energy.
- Basic knowledge of food handling practices and kitchen operations.
- Excellent teamwork skills with a positive attitude toward supporting colleagues.
- Experience in food service or hotel environments is a plus but not mandatory; training will be provided for motivated candidates.
