About AirCare Systems BC

AirCare Systems BC is a NADCA-certified duct cleaning company based in Burnaby. We have been operating since 2012 and clean residential and commercial HVAC systems across Greater Vancouver, the Fraser Valley and the Sea-to-Sky corridor. Residential work means homes and condos. Commercial work means office buildings, healthcare, industrial sites and post-construction cleans. We are WorkSafeBC certified and carry $5M liability coverage.

We're adding a technician to our crew. Duct cleaning or HVAC experience is excellent to have. We also train people coming out of a trades program or with solid hands-on work behind them, using our own equipment and process.

What you'll do

- Clean ducts, furnaces, AC coils, HRV/ERV units, heat pumps, dryer vents and bathroom exhaust fans in homes and commercial buildings
- Operate HyperVac HEPA negative-air equipment, compressed-air whips and rotary brushes
- Drive the company vehicle to job sites across Metro Vancouver and the Fraser Valley
- Take before-and-after photos and complete the job report for every job
- Walk customers through the work and answer their questions
- Keep the vehicle and equipment clean, stocked and maintained
- Follow WorkSafeBC and NADCA safety practices on every site

What you need

- Valid BC driver's licence with a clean driver's abstract




- Comfortable with physical work: heavy equipment, ladders, crawl spaces, attics and rooftops
- Reliable, on time and presentable in customers' homes
- Comfortable talking with customers in English
- Able to pass a background check
- Legally able to work in Canada

Nice to have

- Duct cleaning experience, residential or commercial
- HVAC, sheet metal, building mechanical or construction training
- NADCA ASCS certification
- Confined space, lockout/tag-out, fall protection, forklift or rope access tickets
- Experience on commercial systems (rooftop units, air handlers, make-up air)

Pay and hours

- $30 per hour, paid for the hours you work
- Hours follow the booking calendar, not a fixed shift. Full-time techs averaged 30 to 40 hours a week this summer, with busier weeks over 45.
- Most work is daytime. Some commercial jobs run evenings, overnight or on weekends.
- Based out of Burnaby
