Cresena is an international food business originating in Dubai and expanding into Canada and the United States. We are establishing an edible oil bottling and packaging facility in Ontario and require an experienced specialist to help bring the operation into production.

The assignment

We are looking for a hands-on skilled with proven experience setting up and commissioning edible oil production or bottling lines.

This is a one-off setup, commissioning and handover assignment—not a permanent production management position. Your role will be to help get the equipment operational, establish reliable production processes, train our team and hand over a functioning operation.

Scope of work

- Review the production setup: Assess the proposed equipment layout, product flow and connections between bulk oil storage, transfer systems, filling and packaging equipment.
- Coordinate installation and commissioning: Work with machinery suppliers, engineers and qualified contractors on equipment positioning, connections, testing and start-up.
- Set up and troubleshoot the line: Establish operating settings for filling, capping, labelling, conveying and packing, including adjustments for different bottle sizes.
- Run production trials: Check filling accuracy, packaging quality, line performance and product changeovers, identifying and resolving start-up issues.
- Establish operating procedures: Prepare practical start-up, shutdown, cleaning, changeover and routine maintenance instructions,



alongside relevant food safety and traceability checks.
- Train and hand over: Train our operators and designated production lead, document equipment settings and outstanding issues, and complete an agreed operational handover.

Experience required You must have personally helped set up or commission edible oil production or bottling lines, with a practical understanding of bulk tanks, pumps, oil transfer systems and filling and packaging machinery.

Experience troubleshooting equipment, managing initial production runs and training operators is essential. Experience with new facility launches or production line relocations would be particularly valuable.

Relevant international experience is welcome. Demonstrated hands-on capability is more important than job title.

Project completion The assignment will be completed against agreed milestones, including successful production trials, documented operating procedures, operator training and handover to Cresena’s team. The final scope, schedule and acceptance criteria will be agreed before work begins.
