Assignment:

- Part-time 0.91 FTE Temporary replacement Educational Assistant position

- Working with students in an Elementary classroom

- Duties to commence as soon as possible and will continue until December 18, 2026 with the possibility of extension

- Duties will include providing assistance to students with diverse needs within an inclusive classroom

Qualifications:

- Experience working with students with complex needs would be considered an asset

- Ability to formulate solid and healthy relationships

- Effective oral and written communication skills

- Strong interpersonal skills and a positive personality

- Calm and patient approach to solving problems and assisting with co-regulation

- Willingness to work collaboratively in a team-orientated learning environment

- Ability to work one-on-one or with a student in an inclusive environment

- Background and/or experience with complex behavioural needs

- Ability to be flexible in assigned duties; may include personal care, hygiene, and assisting with meals and/or medication
