Job Title: Journeyman/women Electrician

Location: Williams Lake, BC

Job Type: Permanent

Compensation: $40-$50/hour

Job Summary: We are currently seeking a motivated and experienced Journeyman Electrician to join our growing team. This position will be based out of Williams Lake, with the primary focus on supporting our projects throughout Northern British Columbia.

The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing electrical systems across a variety of commercial, industrial, and institutional projects. This role requires a strong work ethic, the ability to work independently or as part of a team, and a willingness to travel as needed throughout Northern BC.

Key Responsibilities:

- Installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment
- Troubleshooting and diagnosing electrical issues efficiently
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings
- Ensuring all work is completed safely and in compliance with electrical codes and company standards
- Collaborating with project managers, site supervisors, and other trades to ensure project success





Qualifications & Requirements:

- Valid Journeyman Electrician certification.
- Proficiency in reading blueprints, schematics, and electrical drawings.
- Strong understanding of electrical codes, safety regulations, and best practices.
- Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Experience with commercial electrical work.
- Must have reliable transportation and basic hand tools.
- Ability to work in varying conditions, including heights, confined spaces, and inclement weather.

Job Types: Full time, Contract Pay: $40.00-$50.00 per hour

Ability to commute/relocate

- Williams Lake, BC: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

Experience:
- electrician: 4 years (preferred)
