CW Kitchens is looking for an experienced Estimator to take ownership of pricing across our retail, builder and dealer projects.

This role is responsible for reviewing and pricing jobs, completing takeoffs, understanding project costs, and making sure our pricing is accurate and competitive.

The Estimator will work closely with our designers and Operations Manager, supporting the team with more complex pricing while helping designers become stronger and more independent in their own pricing.

For larger custom projects, the Estimator will also work directly with designers and customers to confidently present and explain pricing.

Key Responsibilities

- Price retail, builder and dealer projects
- Complete takeoffs and review project details to ensure pricing is accurate
- Review designer pricing and identify errors, missing items or potential risks
- Support designers with complex or unusual pricing questions
- Create pricing for new or custom items in our internal pricing system
- Understand material, labour and other project costs when developing pricing
- Prepare and review pricing for larger builder and dealer bids
- Participate in pricing meetings for large projects
- Work alongside designers when presenting pricing to high-end retail customers
- Recommend strategic discounts or pricing approaches when appropriate
- Present pricing recommendations to the Operations Manager for approval
- Help improve pricing processes, tools and consistency across the company
- Turn around pricing requests efficiently while maintaining accuracy

What We're Looking For

- 2+ years of estimating, pricing or related experience
- Experience with cabinetry, millwork, construction, manufacturing or a related industry is an asset
- Strong understanding of takeoffs,



costing and margins
- Comfortable working with detailed and highly customized projects
- Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software quickly
- Strategic thinker who understands that valuable estimating is about more than calculating a number
- Highly organized, accurate and efficient
- Confident reviewing other people's work and catching potential mistakes
- Professional, well-spoken and comfortable communicating with customers
- Able to explain pricing clearly and confidently
- Collaborative and approachable when supporting designers and other team members

- Catch pricing issues early before they become costly mistakes
- Provide designers with quick, knowledgeable pricing support without taking over their responsibilities
- Confidently handle complex custom projects and large bids
- Present pricing professionally and help customers understand the value behind their project
- Know when there may be an opportunity to adjust pricing strategically
- Improve the speed and consistency of pricing across the company
- Become the go-to person for complex pricing, allowing the Operations Manager to spend less time estimating and more time focused on growing the business

Pay: $27.00-$30.00 per hour
