EVENT & VENUE OPERATIONS LEAD

Seeking a highly creative, well-organized, friendly and dynamic individual to manage the successful day-to day operations of our on-and-off-site catering and event space!

The Event & Venue Operations Lead will serve as the primary point of contact between clients, management, kitchen, front of house staff, event staff, vendors, and outside service providers. They will coordinate events from the initial customer inquiry through to event completion, taking responsibility for the venue's operations, staff coordination, customer experience, event execution and readiness of the facility. The successful candidate must be comfortable working evenings and weekends.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

· Customer Experience o Work with clients to design event requirements, menus, room layouts, schedules, décor, entertainment and special requests o Develop and maintain professional, friendly and knowledgeable relationships with clients to encouraging repeat business o Provide leadership, respect, professionalism and direction at all times o Actively attend, coordinate and oversee on and off-site functions to troubleshoot where necessary and to ensure customer expectations are exceeded o Ensure the venues are attractive, welcoming,



safe and in good repair o Anticipate and resolve operational problems quickly and professionally o Provide an exceptional guest experience from start to finish every time

· Operations o Create and maximize revenue opportunities through sales and marketing o Work well with management, kitchen staff, front of house, clients, vendors and all service providers to drive sales, improve margins and coordinate events from initial booking through to completion o Communicate closely with Head Chef to establish event times, guest numbers, menus, allergies, dietary requirements and special requests o Hire, train, develop and manage a dedicated team of staff, ensuring they understand event details, customer requirements, appearance and any special requests o Creatively work with the back of house team to design menus and ideas o Oversee inventory and cost management o Coordinate regular checks throughout each event and venue to ensure every component is properly staffed, equipped, maintained, cleaned, set up and stocked, then coordinate breakdown and clean up o Develop and maintain professional and positive relationships with everyone in all facets of the business o Ensure compliance with health, safety and all regulation requirements for clients, staff and vendors The Event & Venue Operations Lead is a hands-on position. The successful candidate will work with management to creatively develop and execute ideas to ensure continued growth and success of the company. They will be responsible for ensuring that every event is professionally planned, properly staffed, well-equipped and smoothly executed, while maintaining excellent customer service, and the overall well-being, appearance, safety, reputation, and efficient operation of the venue.

Pay: $50,000.00-$60,000.00 per year
