Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Excavator Operator to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience operating various types of heavy machinery, particularly excavators, and will be responsible for performing excavation tasks on construction sites. This role requires a strong understanding of mechanical operations and the ability to work collaboratively with other team members to ensure projects are completed efficiently and safely.

Responsibilities

- Operate excavators and other heavy equipment such as backhoes, graders, and loaders to perform excavation tasks.
- Execute horizontal drilling and digging operations as required for various construction projects.
- Collaborate with project managers and site supervisors to understand project specifications and requirements.
- Maintain equipment in good working condition through regular inspections and basic mechanical knowledge.
- Ensure compliance with safety regulations and protocols while operating machinery on-site.
- Assist in paving and building tasks as needed, contributing to overall project completion.
- Perform routine maintenance on equipment, including cleaning,



lubricating, and making minor repairs.

Requirements

- Proven experience operating excavators; familiarity with Caterpillar machinery is preferred.
- Knowledge of backhoe operation, grader operation, loader operation, and commercial driving is a plus.
- Strong mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot equipment issues effectively.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions and adapt to changing job site environments.
- Excellent communication skills for effective teamwork and collaboration in office.
- A valid driver's license is required; additional certifications related to heavy machinery operation are advantageous.
- Commitment to safety practices and procedures in all aspects of work.
