Duties

- Prepare and cook a variety of menu items with precision, ensuring consistency and quality in every dish
- Assist in food preparation tasks such as chopping, marinating, portioning, and plating to support efficient kitchen operations
- Follow all food safety guidelines and proper handling procedures to maintain a clean, protected workspace
- Serve food promptly and courteously to guests, ensuring excellent food service experience
- Maintain kitchen cleanliness by sanitizing workstations, utensils, and equipment regularly
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely delivery of meals during busy periods




- Support inventory management by monitoring stock levels and notifying supervisors of supply needs

Qualifications

- Proven experience in food preparation, cooking, or as a food service worker within a restaurant or food industry setting
- Strong knowledge of food handling safety standards and proper sanitation practices
- Experience with meal preparation techniques and cooking methods across diverse cuisines
- Excellent serving skills with a friendly, professional attitude towards guests
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Prior kitchen experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm for learning is essential
- Knowledge of restaurant operations and familiarity with food industry regulations is an advantage
