About the Position

Apex Power & Automation Ltd. is seeking 2nd and 3rd Year Electrical Apprentices to work alongside experienced electricians on a variety of commercial and industrial electrical projects. You will work as part of a team to install, test, troubleshoot, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, control devices, equipment, and related systems while continuing to develop your skills and knowledge in the electrical trade.

Previous commercial or industrial electrical experience is required for these positions.

Key Responsibilities

- Assist with the installation of commercial and industrial electrical systems
- Install and terminate electrical wiring, conduit, fixtures, equipment, panels, and control devices
- Assist with electrical testing, troubleshooting, repairs, and commissioning
- Read and work from electrical drawings, plans, and schematics
- Apply the skills and knowledge gained through technical training and field experience
- Learn and apply new electrical installation techniques and industry best practices




- Follow all applicable electrical codes, safety requirements, and company procedures
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
- Work collaboratively with Journeyman Electricians, apprentices, project managers, and other trades
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, coworkers, customers, and other project personnel
- Demonstrate attention to detail and a solid sense of urgency when required

What We're Looking For

The successful candidate will demonstrate:

- 2nd or 3rd Year Electrical Apprentice status
- Previous hands-on electrical experience
- Commercial and/or industrial electrical experience is an asset
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- A positive, professional, and team-oriented attitude
- Dependability and punctuality
- A solid commitment to safe work practices
- Ability to work independently when required while contributing effectively to a team
- Willingness to learn and develop new electrical skills
- Valid Driver's License
