Responsibilities

- Welcoming customers, reading and listening to people to determine beverage preferences, making recommendations, and taking drink orders.
- Preforming opening, closing duties, ensuring checklists & daily duties are complete.
- Help create feature cocktails.
- Keeping informed by checking the communication logs & keep up to update knowledge of special offers and stock-related issues, and to discuss service and product matters.
- Engaging and informative about our Beer and Food with guests.
- Ensure bar area is clean, organized and guests are enjoying their drink and meals.
- Take food and drink orders from customers accurately and with a positive attitude, ensuring bar maintenance & quality checking with guests.
- Takes action to correct any beverage problems.
- Preparing drinks according to Trading Post standard, in quality, speed & accuracy.
- Ensuring Safe Liquor service.
- Taking inventory and ordering supplies to ensure bar and tables are well-stocked.
- Adhering to all food safety and quality regulations.
- Handling cash, credit, and debit card transactions,



ensuring charges are accurate and returning correct change to guests, balancing the cash register.
- Maintaining a clean work and dining area by removing trash, cleaning tables, and washing glasses, utensils, and equipment.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, etc for extended periods, and lift up to 25 lbs.
- Follows all company policies, procedures & checklists.
- Assists other staff members were needed to ensure the best guest experience.

Experience

- Previous bartending experience in a quick-paced restaurant or hospitality environment is mandatory.
- Familiarity with POS systems like Toast or similar is essential.
- Strong knowledge of food industry standards related to food safety, handling, and responsible alcohol service.
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during peak hours.
- Proven ability to deliver outstanding customer service with a friendly attitude.
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and order calculations.
- Experience in food handling or serving roles within the food industry is a plus but not mandatory.
