Experienced Dry Cleaning Presser Wanted (Full-Time or Part-Time, Starting at $21/hr)

Ichiban Fine Cleaning, 5247 Ladner Trunk Road, Delta, BC

Are you a skilled presser who takes pride in a perfectly finished garment? We are a busy, well established dry cleaning shop in Ladner (Delta) and we are looking for an experienced presser to join our team. Full-time and part-time options are both available, so if you know your way around a pressing station and want a secure job with a small, friendly crew close to home, we would love to hear from you.

Why you will like working here

Starting pay of $21.00 per hour, with more for the right experience and skills. Full-time or part-time hours to suit your life, with a steady, year-round workload. Pay reviews based on performance. A clean, well maintained shop with modern equipment. An owner who is hands-on, respectful and easy to work with. Free parking and easy access from Ladner, Tsawwassen, Richmond and Surrey.

What you will do

Press and finish dry cleaned and laundered garments to a high standard, including shirts, pants, suits, dresses, coats and delicate fabrics. Operate pressing and steam finishing equipment safely and efficiently. Help with spotting and stain removal. Assist with general dry cleaning production, bagging, tagging and other shop work as needed. Keep your work area clean and organized.

What you must bring

At least 3 years of hands-on pressing experience in a dry cleaning or laundry plant. This is a must. We are hiring someone who can step in and produce quality work from the first week, so we are not able to train from scratch for this role. You should be confident handling all types of fabrics without damage, able to work quickly and carefully, and reliable with your schedule. Spotting and stain removal experience is a strong plus. Basic English is needed for day-to-day communication.

Schedule

Full time or part-time, mainly weekday hours with some flexibility. Tell us what you are looking for when you apply and we will work out the exact days and hours at the interview.

How to apply

Apply through Indeed and answer the short question about full-time or part-time, plus a note telling us where you have worked as a presser and for how long. We review every application and will reach out quickly to qualified candidates.
