Tatras Industrial

YOU ALREADY KNOW THE WORK. NOW FIND THE RIGHT TEAM.
Tatras Industrial is looking for experienced rope access and rescue technicians for full-time, seasonal and project-based work across British Columbia.
We are not looking for entry-level candidates.
We are looking for people with real field experience, good judgment, and the ability to contribute without being managed through every step.
Relevant backgrounds may include
- IRATA rope access
- Confined space rescue
- NFPA technical rescue
- Firefighting / fire service
- High-angle rescue
- Industrial rescue
- Rigging
- Industrial construction and maintenance
- Infrastructure and specialty-access work
You do not need every certification. You do need to know how to work.
That means understanding the job around you, communicating clearly, recognizing problems early, staying calm when conditions change, and being someone the rest of the crew can rely on.
THE OPPORTUNITY
Depending on your background, projects may include:
- Rope access
- Confined space entry and rescue
- Rescue standby
- High-angle rescue
- Industrial inspection and maintenance
- Rigging
- Infrastructure work
- Specialty and difficult-access projects
Our work varies by project. Some opportunities are full-time.
Some are seasonal.
Some are project-based.
Typical hours may range from approximately 20–50 hours per week depending on project requirements, with some projects involving overtime, travel or longer rotations.
Work is primarily throughout British Columbia, including the Lower Mainland, with travel required for some projects.
WHO WE ARE INTERESTED IN
We are particularly interested in experienced technicians who:
- take ownership of their work
- operate safely without needing constant direction
- communicate well with crews and clients
- understand the difference between having a ticket and being competent
- can recognize risk before it becomes a problem
- contribute to the whole job, not only their own task
- work well around other strong personalities
- can support less-experienced technicians without ego
- remain calm and practical when plans change
- want to keep developing technically and professionally
For some candidates, this can also lead to more responsibility over time. We are always looking for people capable of becoming strong crew leads, rescue leads and site supervisors.
That opportunity is earned through performance.
WHAT WE VALUE
Experience.
Judgment.
Reliability.
Work ethic.
Clear communication.
No unnecessary ego.
The ability to think ahead.
And the ability to step up when the job needs leadership.
