Responsibilities
- Operate CNC laser cutting, CNC milling machines, CNC lathes, plasma cutters, and press brake machines to shape and form metal components with precision.
- Read and interpret detailed blueprints and mechanical drawings to ensure accurate fabrication.
- Use hand tools, calipers, and other measuring devices to perform quality inspections and verify dimensions.
- Set up and program CNC equipment, ensuring optimal performance and adherence to specifications.
- Handle material movement using cranes and forklifts safely and efficiently within the shop environment.
- Perform welding tasks using various techniques to assemble fabricated parts according to project requirements.
- Assist in assembly processes,
ensuring components are correctly fitted and secured for final delivery.
Requirements
- Proven experience operating CNC machinery such as laser cutters, milling machines, lathes, or plasma cutters is highly preferred.
- Mechanical knowledge combined with basic math skills for precise measurements and calculations.
- Ability to read blueprints accurately and interpret technical drawings.
- Familiarity with hand tools, calipers, and quality inspection procedures.
- Certification or experience operating cranes and forklifts is a plus.
- Knowledge of welding techniques and manufacturing processes is desirable.
- Strong attention to detail, safety consciousness, and ability to work effectively within a team environment.
