Job Summary

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Fabricator/Welder to join our energetic manufacturing team. In this role, you will be responsible for fabricating, welding, and assembling metal components with precision and efficiency. Your expertise will contribute to the creation of high-quality products, ensuring safety standards are met while maintaining productivity.

Duties

- Read and interpret detailed blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to accurately fabricate metal parts and assemblies.
- Use MIG (Metal Inert Gas) and TIG (Tungsten Inert Gas) welding techniques to join metals with precision, ensuring strong and durable welds.
- Operate plasma cutters and press brake machines to cut, bend, and shape metal components according to specifications.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, calipers, and machining equipment to assemble parts accurately while adhering to safety protocols.
- Perform rigging tasks such as lifting and securing heavy materials using cranes or forklifts during fabrication processes.
- Conduct basic math calculations to measure materials accurately and ensure proper fitment of components.




- Maintain a clean and organized work area, inspecting finished products for quality control and compliance with engineering standards.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in welding (MIG and TIG), fabrication, or manufacturing environments; construction experience is a plus.
- Mechanical knowledge of machinery, schematics, ductwork, and assembly processes.
- Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings with confidence.
- Familiarity with hand tools, power tools, calipers, plasma cutting equipment, press brake machines, and machining tools.
- Basic math skills for measurements and calculations essential for exact fabrication work.
- Knowledge of rigging procedures including crane operation and forklift certification is advantageous.
- Strong understanding of welding safety standards and practices; ability to work safely with welding equipment.
