Job Overview
We are seeking multiple skilled Fabricator/Welders to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in metal fabrication and welding, with the ability to interpret blueprints and work with various materials. This role requires knowledge with on site welding as on site work will be of an asset.
Duties
- Fabricate metal components according to specifications and blueprints.
- Operate press brake machines and other fabrication equipment.
- Use hand tools and machinery for cutting, shaping, and assembling metal parts.
- Perform welding tasks using MIG, TIG, or stick welding techniques.
- Rig materials as necessary for transport or assembly.
- Conduct quality checks on completed work to ensure adherence to standards.
- Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
- Utilize basic math skills for measurements and calculations during fabrication processes.
- Operate forklifts safely to transport materials within the facility.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace while adhering to safety protocols.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in metal fabrication and welding is preferred.
- Familiarity with operating press brake machines and other fabrication tools.
- Proficient in using hand tools such as grinders, saws, and drills.
- Experience with ductwork fabrication is a plus.
- Ability to read blueprints and technical drawings effectively.
- Basic math skills for accurate measurements and calculations.
- Experience in machining is advantageous but not required.
- Solid attention to detail with a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Ability to work well in a team environment as well as independently.
Job Type: Full-time Pay: $25.00-$45.00 per hour
