- Perform professional massage therapy sessions for clients
- Assess clients' needs and create customized treatment plans
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure client satisfaction
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date client records
- Adhere to all applicable laws, regulations, and ethical standards in the practice of massage therapy
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed
Requirements:
- Have a minimum of 2200 hours from schooling.
- Registered through a massage association in Alberta.
- Valid City of Calgary business license as massage practitioner.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients and colleagues
- Knowledge of medical terminology related to massage therapy
- Strong customer service skills to provide a positive experience for clients
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Physical stamina and dexterity to perform massage techniques for extended periods of time
