Duties

- Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
- Provide companionship to promote emotional well-being and reduce feelings of loneliness
- Prepare nutritious meals tailored to dietary needs and assist with feeding when necessary
- Administer medications accurately according to care plans and document all medication activities
- Perform light housekeeping tasks including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a tidy living environment
- Support clients with mobility and transfer techniques, including heavy lifting when required




- Monitor health status, report changes to healthcare professionals, and follow prescribed care procedures

Experience

- Prior experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or home care environments is highly preferred
- Proven ability to deliver patient-centered care with compassion and professionalism
- Experience working with individuals with dementia is advantageous
- Knowledge of hospice care practices and senior care best practices is beneficial
- Good communication skills to collaborate with families, healthcare teams, and clients
- Certification in caregiving, nursing assistance, or related fields is a plus but not mandatory
