A 100+ year old High Tech company specializing in the Automatic Identification industry has an opening for the following position:

Field Service Technician – Cambridge Area

This position involves installing, repairing, servicing and supporting products such as Label Printers, Photo ID Printers, Barcode Scanners, Label Applicators, Wireless Terminals and Networks.

Responsibilities

- Installation of new equipment
- Train customers on the use and maintenance of products
- Respond to urgent break/fix service requests
- Product support via telephone or email
- Schedule and perform preventative maintenance service
- Complete service reports
- Manage parts inventory
- Maintain excellent customer relationships

Requirements
- College or University Degree, Diploma or Certificate in either Electronics, Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
- Experience in Field Service Repair
- Ability to communicate openly and confidently




- Work independently with valuable time management skills
- Good trouble shooting skills to define problems
- Ability to read technical mechanical and electrical drawings
- Strong computer skills
- Have a reliable vehicle along with a clean driving record

The optimum candidate will have experience with installing and supporting Barcode Technology Equipment. Product training will be available.
