Responsibilities

- Engage with customers through outside and inside sales efforts, providing expert advice on flooring options, installation processes, and renovation ideas
- Manage customer accounts efficiently, including POS transactions, cash handling, and merchandising to maximize sales opportunities
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients by understanding their needs, offering tailored solutions, and upselling premium products
- Coordinate with the installation team to ensure project specifications are met and customer expectations are exceeded
- Utilize marketing strategies to attract new customers while nurturing existing client relationships through effective communication and follow-up




- Demonstrate excellent negotiation skills to close sales confidently while ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty

Skills

- Proven experience in outside sales, retail sales, or inside sales within the renovation or construction industry
- Strong proficiency with QBO, Xactimate, POS systems, and basic math for accurate measurements and quotations
- Exceptional negotiation, communication, and customer service skills to build rapport and close high-end sales
- Knowledge of renovation processes, construction practices, and merchandising techniques
- Ability to conduct product demos effectively and upsell additional services or premium products
- Organizational skills for managing multiple accounts, appointments, and project timelines efficiently
