Responsibilities
- Greet guests warmly and assist them with menu selections, offering recommendations when needed.
- Take accurate orders using POS (Point of Sale) systems such as Micros POS, ensuring all details are correct.
- Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining presentation standards.
- Handle cash transactions accurately, including cash handling and cashiering duties.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of dining areas, adhering to food safety and sanitation protocols.
- Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and address any special dietary requests or concerns.
Experience
- Previous food service or restaurant experience is highly preferred but not mandatory; enthusiasm to learn is key!
- Familiarity with POS systems like Micros POS or similar platforms is a plus.
- Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy hours.
- Knowledge of food handling, safety regulations, and sanitation practices in the food industry.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly, approachable demeanor.
- Basic math skills for cashiering, billing, and handling transactions accurately.
- Experience in hospitality or guest services roles is advantageous for creating a welcoming environment.
