Duties

- Prepare and assemble meals according to dietary guidelines and menu specifications
- Serve food to residents or patients with professionalism and courtesy

- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas, dining spaces, and food service equipment
- Assist with food storage, inventory management, and proper labeling of ingredients
- Support meal delivery schedules by managing time efficiently to meet service deadlines
- Respond promptly to residents’ or patients’ needs during meal times, providing friendly assistance





Requirements

- Previous experience in assisted living, nursing home, hospital, or food industry environments preferred
- Knowledge of food preparation, cooking techniques, and food safety protocols
- Experience in food service, meal preparation, or kitchen operations is highly desirable
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with residents or patients
- Ability to handle food safely and maintain sanitation standards at all times
- Good time management skills to ensure timely meal service and cleanliness routines
- Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift moderate loads, and perform cleaning duties effectively
