Duties

- Prepare and serve meals in accordance with dietary guidelines and safety standards, ensuring timely delivery to residents or guests
- Assist with food preparation, including chopping, assembling, and portioning ingredients for various dishes
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of kitchen equipment, dining areas, and food storage spaces in compliance with health regulations
- Handle food safely by following proper food handling procedures and maintaining proper temperature controls
- Support meal service by setting up dining areas, serving food courteously, and assisting residents or guests with their needs
- Manage time effectively to ensure all meals are prepared and served on schedule




- Perform routine cleaning tasks such as dishwashing, sweeping, mopping, and waste disposal to uphold a hygienic workplace

Skills

- Previous experience in assisted living facilities, nursing homes, hospitals, or the food industry is highly desirable
- Strong knowledge of food preparation techniques and cooking methods
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly and professional demeanor
- Proficient in food handling safety and sanitation practices
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple tasks
- Good time management skills to meet meal deadlines consistently
- Experience with serving meals and supporting meal preparation activities
- Familiarity with kitchen equipment and cleaning procedures related to food service operations
