Our At Last Forest Schools program is looking for teaching staff who have availability to work 1-2 days per week (8:30-3:30 plus prep time) at our Huntsville location. Days of operation will be Monday and/or Wednesday, with possibility for more hours on school holidays (ie PD day and March Break camp). Details will be discussed during the interview process. This position will commence immediately. Online and in person training will commence upon hiring.
At Last Forest Schools takes a creative approach to education that fosters emergent and play based learning opportunities for students. To compliment our current team of teachers, we are hiring individuals who are passionate in alternative education and have experience working with kids.
Qualifications
- Currently enrolled or graduated with a teaching degree, Forest School practitioner course, ECE,
CYW, and/or significant experience teaching children in the outdoors is an asset.
- First aid/CPR
- Passed Vulnerable Sector Check
