Duties

- Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine form layout and specifications
- Set up and assemble formwork using carpentry skills, hand tools, power tools, and heavy equipment to create molds for concrete pouring
- Install rebar reinforcement within forms to strengthen concrete structures according to engineering standards
- Operate heavy machinery such as forklifts or cranes to position form components safely and efficiently
- Ensure proper alignment, levelness, and stability of forms before concrete placement
- Assist with concrete pouring, finishing, and restoration work to achieve smooth surfaces and structural integrity




- Perform routine inspections of formwork for safety compliance and structural accuracy throughout the project lifecycle

Experience

- Proven construction experience with a focus on concrete forming or related trades
- Mechanical knowledge of tools, equipment, schematics, and blueprints is essential
- Hands-on experience with rebar installation, masonry, drywall, caulking, flooring installation, and welding is highly desirable
- Ability to operate power tools and heavy equipment safely and effectively
- Knowledge of renovation processes and concrete finishing techniques
- Familiarity with construction safety standards and protocols for heavy lifting and site operations
- Strong problem-solving skills with an eye for detail to ensure precise form setup and project quality
