We are a friendly neighbourhood optometric practice with a trendy optical boutique. We are looking for an Ophthalmic Assistant, who can work from Tuesday to Friday, to join us.
You’ll receive training and hands-on experience in:
- Admitting patients with a warm, friendly attitude
- Working with different instruments and assisting with pre-testing
- Helping patients find their perfect pair of glasses
- Providing exceptional customer service in our optical boutique
- Supporting the team with a variety of daily tasks
This is a part-time position with the opportunity to transition into full time for the right candidate.
Assets include being:
- Organized and detail-oriented
- Comfortable working with numbers
- Curious and excited to learn new things
- Computer literate
- A strong and friendly communicator
- Fluent or proficient in a second language
- Experienced in retail or customer service
