Responsibilities

Assist carpenters and framers with the setup and dismantling of framing components using hand tools and power tools.

Support the measurement, cutting, and assembly of wood and metal framing materials based on schematics and blueprints.

Help with reading blueprints and schematics to ensure accurate construction according to project specifications.

Carry out heavy lifting tasks safely to move materials such as lumber, drywall, siding, or concrete forms.

Operate basic heavy equipment or power tools under supervision to facilitate efficient workflow.

Assist in the installation of drywall, siding,



and other finishing components as directed by lead workers.

Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency on site.

Skills

Robust understanding of blueprint reading, schematics, and construction drawings.

Experience or familiarity with concrete forming, concrete finishing, and drywall installation.

Knowledge of woodworking techniques, carpentry practices, and use of hand tools and power tools.

Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while adhering to safety protocols.

Basic understanding of heavy equipment operation relevant to framing tasks.

Willingness to learn welding techniques or assist with welding tasks when needed.

Prior construction experience is preferred but not required; a positive attitude and eagerness to learn are essential.
