:

The Front Desk is often the first point of contact and first impression for our guests. We are looking for a friendly, reliable and customer-focused Front Desk Agent / Night Auditor to join our team on a part-time basis.

This position will be responsible for providing excellent guest service, completing check-ins and check-outs, handling guest requests and completing Night Audit duties during overnight shifts.

Responsibilities and Duties

- Check guests in and out efficiently and provide room keys and hotel information
- Answer phones and assist guests in a prompt and courteous manner
- Handle guest requests, questions and concerns
- Process cash and credit card transactions accurately
- Take reservations and process cancellations or changes
- Resolve guest complaints using appropriate service recovery
- Communicate outstanding guest requests or issues to management
- Complete Night Audit procedures and daily system rollover
- Review and balance daily transactions and reports
- Verify guest accounts, room charges and payment information
- Prepare and distribute required Night Audit reports




- Ensure the Front Desk and lobby areas are clean and organized
- Follow hotel safety and security procedures
- Report any security concerns, incidents or suspicious activity
- Work closely with other departments to ensure excellent guest service

Qualifications and Skills

- Previous hotel Front Desk or Night Audit experience preferred
- Customer service experience: 2 years preferred
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable working independently during overnight shifts
- Basic computer and cash-handling skills
- Reliable and able to work scheduled shifts

Job Type: Part time, Permanent

Schedule:

- 8-hour shifts
- Night Audit/overnight shifts
- Weekends and holidays required
- Flexibility to work occasional Front Desk shifts as required

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Nisku, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Work Location: In person

Pay: $15.25-$16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24.0 – 40.0 per week
