Role: Frontend Developer with specialized skills in Nginx web servers, DevOps, API integration, and secure banking-grade authentication.

Location: Toronto, ON – Hybrid – 4 days onsite

Contract Role

Role Descriptions:

- UI Development: Design and build responsive, reusable components using React.js, TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
- Architecture: Maintain Single Page Applications (SPAs) with modern React patterns, Hooks, and Context API.
- Server & Deployment: Configure and troubleshoot applications behind Nginx reverse proxies, load balancers, and caching layers.
- Security & APIs: Integrate RESTful microservices and implement secure authentication via OAuth2, JWT, and SSO.
- Quality Assurance: Write unit/integration tests (Jest, Cypress) and collaborate in Agile environments.

Required & Preferred Qualifications

- Experience: 5+ years in frontend development with robust TypeScript/React expertise.
- DevOps/Tools: Git, CI/CD pipelines, Docker, and SonarQube.
- Preferred: Next.js knowledge, cloud platform exposure (AWS/Azure), and experience in financial services or banking.
