Furlong Dental is looking for a motivated and adaptable Level II Dental Assistant to join our team on a full-time basis.
This is an excellent chance for a dental assistant looking to work in a fast-paced environment, working as part of a team, and supporting multiple dentists. The successful candidate will have the opportunity to work alongside three dentists, gaining experience across a variety of procedures and treatment needs.
The Ideal Candidate
We are looking for someone who:
- Is a Level II Dental Assistant (proof of diploma, NDAEB certified, CPR-C, NLDB license)
- Previous experience in a dental office is an asset but not required, also accepting new graduates
- Can adapt quickly to changing schedules, procedures, and priorities
- Is organized, dependable, and able to multitask in a busy environment
- Works well independently and as part of a team
- Has excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Provides exceptional patient care and customer service
- Is comfortable supporting different dentists with varying workflows and preferences
- Takes initiative and is willing to jump in wherever needed
- Maintains a positive and professional attitude
Technology & Equipment Our office utilizes modern digital dental technology, including:
- Allied Star Sensa intraoral scanner
- Digital X-ray sensors
- Intraoral camera
- Digital patient records and dental practice management software
Responsibilities
- Assists dentists during a variety of dental procedures
- Prepare and maintain treatment rooms and instruments
- Take and process digital dental radiographs
- Utilize intraoral scanning and intraoral imaging
- Maintain infection prevention and control standards
- Provide patient education and support
- Assist with sterilization and operatory turnover
- Prepare materials and equipment for procedures
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Work efficiently to keep the daily schedule running smoothly
- Support the dental team with other clinical and administrative duties as required

Start date: January 2027 Pay: $20.00-$30.00 per hour
