Join the Ministry of Primary and Preventative Health Services as a Strategic Advisor in Calgary, Alberta. This full-time position focuses on improving health outcomes for Indigenous communities through effective policy and strategic direction. As the Strategic Advisor, you will coordinate initiatives supporting Indigenous health policy.
With two years of relevant experience, you’ll engage with First Nations and Métis organizations to enhance healthcare delivery. Your analytical skills and ability to synthesize complex information will inform high-quality decision-making for health strategies. Key Responsibilities:
- Develop policy options for Indigenous health initiatives
- Provide strategic guidance to the Minister and Deputy Minister
- Facilitate Indigenous engagement planning and execution
- Collaborate with community leaders to address health needs
- Represent Indigenous Health on policy committees Requirements:
- University degree in a related field
- Minimum 2 years of related experience
- Knowledge of Indigenous health and governance structures
- Robust communication and collaboration skills
