We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented General Accountant to join our accounting team. In this role, you will be responsible for managing core accounting functions, ensuring accuracy in financial records, and supporting the overall accounting and property management operation.

Responsibilities

- Handle accounts payable and accounts receivable processes efficiently, ensuring timely payments and collections.
- Perform account reconciliations regularly, including bank reconciliations, to verify accuracy across all ledgers.
- Maintain and update financial records using various accounting software such as Spectra and Yardi.
- Support bookkeeping activities by recording transactions accurately and maintaining organized financial documentation.
- Conduct account analysis to identify discrepancies or irregularities and resolve issues promptly.
- Contribute to auditing activities by preparing necessary documentation and supporting internal or external audits.




- Support budgeting processes by providing relevant financial data and insights for planning purposes.
- Collaborate with team members on financial reporting tasks and ensure adherence to company policies.

Qualifications

- Proven experience working with accounting software such as Spectra or Yardi.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles, bookkeeping practices, and account reconciliation techniques.
- Knowledge of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliation procedures.
- Familiarity with corporate finance concepts including budgeting, account analysis, and financial reporting.
- Experience in property management or real estate company is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills for account analysis and problem-solving.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.
- Effective communication skills to clearly present financial information and collaborate across departments.
