African Foodways operates a multi-location grocery and warehouse network. Behind every stocked shelf is a warehouse team that keeps product moving accurately and on time. We're looking for people who take pride in physical, hands-on work done right.

The Opportunity

As a General Labourer, you'll be part of the backbone of our warehouse operations — receiving, moving, organizing, and preparing product for distribution to our stores.

What You'll Do

- Load and unload delivery trucks safely and efficiently
- Move inventory using pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other warehouse equipment
- Sort, stack, and organize products in designated storage areas
- Pick and prepare orders for store distribution
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free of safety hazards
- Perform inventory counts and report discrepancies
- Assist with general maintenance and warehouse upkeep tasks as needed
- Follow all workplace safety procedures,



including proper lifting techniques and PPE use

What We're Looking For

- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs repeatedly throughout a shift
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, physically demanding environment, including cold storage areas
- Previous warehouse or general labour experience is an asset, but not required
- Reliable, safety-conscious, and able to work independently or as part of a team
- Flexible availability, including early mornings and weekends
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
