Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and passionate General Manager / Executive Director to lead a non-profit seniors housing organization dedicated to providing exceptional living environments for older adults. In this vital leadership role, you will oversee all aspects of operations, ensuring the delivery of high-quality senior care services, fostering a welcoming community atmosphere, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards. Your energetic approach and strategic vision will inspire staff, engage residents, and advance the organization’s mission to enhance the lives of seniors through compassionate care and innovative programming.

Duties

- Provide visionary leadership to ensure the smooth day-to-day operation of the seniors housing community, including assisted living, nursing home, and dementia care services.
- Oversee staff supervision, including hiring, training, performance management, and fostering a positive team environment rooted in respect and collaboration.
- Manage organizational budgets, monitor financial performance, and ensure responsible resource allocation to sustain quality care and operational excellence.
- Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations related to senior care facilities, including licensing requirements and safety standards.
- Coordinate clinical services such as medication administration, nursing care plans, and specialized dementia care programs to meet residents’ individual needs.




- Cultivate strong relationships with residents’ families, community partners, healthcare providers, and regulatory agencies to promote transparency and trust.
- Lead initiatives for continuous improvement in service delivery, resident satisfaction, staff development, and community engagement.

Qualifications

- Proven experience in assisted living or nursing home management within a non-profit or healthcare setting.
- Strong background in senior care services with knowledge of dementia care practices and medication administration protocols.
- Demonstrated supervising experience with a track record of effective team leadership and staff development.
- Familiarity with budgeting processes, financial management tools, and resource planning in healthcare environments.
- Excellent communication skills to engage residents’ families, staff members, and external stakeholders confidently.
- Leadership qualities that inspire motivation, foster innovation, and promote a compassionate organizational culture.
- Knowledge of relevant regulations governing senior housing facilities and healthcare standards.
