Alberta's Leading Food Processor is looking for a Warehouse Worker!

We are the makers of Cheemo Perogies. We make and distribute over 2 million perogies per day across North America. We are celebrating our 50th year in business this year. We are excited to be recruiting a Warehouse Worker to join our team.

This is a full time job, Mon-Thurs 11:00 am - 7:30 pm and Friday 6:00 am - 2:30 pm

Qualifications:

- 1 year experience as a warehouse worker is an asset
- Ability to operate electric forklifts and powerjacks
- Ability to lift more than 50 pounds, periodically
- Ability to walk, stand, bend, push/pull for a minimum of 8 hours
- Team player and excellent at following directions
- Must have strong verbal and written skills with English
- At least high-school degree education
- Must be able to work freezer environment, as well as room temperature
- Fast learner
- Full covid vaccination is a requirement for applicants.

Responsibilities:

- Operate industrial equipment in a safe and efficient manner.




- Complete order picking assignments with barcode scanners
- Must be able to pick orders accurately in a timely manner, must be able to pay attention to detail, case number and quantity of products
- Place selected cases on pallet and arrange orderly to minimize product damage
- Comply with all department and company policies and procedures including but not limited to safety and attendance.
- Load, unload and move products and materials by hand or with basic material handling equipment,
- Assist with loading and unloading delivery trucks
- Weigh materials, wrap and stack goods
- Pack, unpack, sort, label and organize goods
- Maintain and organize inventory
- Keep warehouse in neat orderly condition at all times
